Apex® Unpacking and CAU Preparation for Cable Entry

In this video, we unpack the Apex® fiber optic splice closure and prepare the CAU for cable entry. This demonstration includes best practice in:

  • Planning for port usage
  • Releasing the lock ring
  • Removing the fusion splice trays, and
  • Preparing the cable for entry

The six ground Apex X2 with an inner basket was used for this demonstration, though the X1 and X3 have similar installation practices.
