Carson Joye is an applications engineer at AFL. After more than 6 years at AFL, Joye has held various positions within manufacturing and applications engineering specific to the electric utility industry. He has spent time with electric utilities designing fiber cables, supporting the installation of fiber optic cable networks in the field, while also training installers on the use of fiber optic cable and accessories. More recently, Joye has been working closely with a rural cooperative on a fiber-to-the-home project as the technical lead for AFL. He is an ETA certified Fiber Optics Installer and a certified FTTx outside plant designer. Joye holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
