AFL sponsored a recent Lightwave webcast, Optical Networking for Cable Operators, on November 29, 2018. AFL's Kevin Clayton was a featured speaker on the webcast and presented a closer look of fiber deep and some technological options for fiber deep deployment.

Cable operators have plenty of reasons to drive fiber deeper into their networks, with support of DOCSIS 3.1, the evolution toward Distributed Access Architectures, and improved support of business services and mobile small cell deployments only a sampling. This webcast will highlight the optical technologies available to cable operators now as well as what might be on the horizon to meet emerging requirements.
